Current Job Postings:

 

Home Care Primary Care Nurse - Registered Nurse

Full Time-Full Benefits- 32 Hours per week/64 ppd

1st Shift 8:00am-4:00pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday with occasional 2nd call and holidays)

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The RN provides skilled professional nursing care to the patient/family/caregiver as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulation as established by the State Board of Registered Nursing, the patient and the policies of Harbor Hospice.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holds a current license in the State of Michigan.
  2. Possesses and maintains a current CPR certification.
  3. Requires independence, flexibility, strong clinical nursing expertise and abiilty to work within a interdisciplinary team.
  4. Licensed to drive and with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
  5. Certification in hospice and palliative care preferred.

PRN Primary Care Nurse Registered Nurse

Full Time: PRN Registered Nurse

Shift: Varies

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The RN provides skilled professional nursing care to the patient/family/caregiver as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulation by the State Board of Registered Nursing, the patient and the policies of Harbor Hospice.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Is a graduate of an accrediated School of Nursing
  2. Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse License
  3. Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience
  4. Certification in hospice and palliative care preferred
  5. Possesses and maintains a current CPR certification
  6. Maintains a valid Michigan driver's license and has access to a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job.  Vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan
  7. Must be very flexible and able to work all shifts
  8. Able to work various roles in Home Care and Our Residence

 

 

Home Care CENA - PRN (1st Shift Varied Hours) and Residence CENA - PRN (All Three Shifts)

Must be available a minimum of two shifts per quarter, one of which must be a weekend if applicable.  A shift is defined as a minimum of eight hours.

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, provides direct care to patients in their homes.  

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. A nurse aide training and competency evaluation program approved by the State as meeting the requirements of § 483.151 through § 483.154 of this chapter, and is currently listed in good standing on the State nurse aide registry.
  2. Current State of Michigan Nurse Aid Certification
  3. CHPNA preferred
