Coping with Loss is a monthly support series for adults who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Each session will focus on different aspects of the grieving process as well as developing personal support systems. This series is offered at the North Ottawa County Council on Again, 422 Fulton Street in Grand Haven on the third Tuesday of the month from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.
The topic for this meeting will be Guilt, Anger, Forgiveness and Loneliness:
- Circumstances of death
- Goal and objectives to assist in self-forgiveness
- Ways to combat loneliness (getting out of your comfort zone)
This series will be facilitated by Grief Counselor, Anne Tyson, LMSW. Registration is not required as this is a drop-in support group. This series is free and open to the public; your loved one need not have been cared for by Harbor Hospice.
